For those who have finished the advanced course and want to go to the top, it is possible to “finish the job” by attending the NT2-II course. This will prepare students for the programme 2 level of the Dutch as a Second Language examination.
If you did not attend our advanced course, you will have to come to our institute for an intake test.

What is the NT2 exam?
The NT2 (Dutch as a Second Language) exam programme 2 is the official national exam, authorized by the Dutch government and organized by the Informatie Beheer Groep (IB-groep) since 1992.
You can take the exam if you are at least eightteen years old and want to prove that you have a sufficient command of the language to be able to follow a vocational training in Dutch, or work in a Dutch company.
There are two exam programmes. Programme 1 is designed for people who want to work in lower level jobs on the labour market or follow a training for that. Programme 2 is meant for people who want to work in middle and higher level jobs or want to follow a training for such jobs. You will, for example, need a programme 2 certificate if you want to study or work at a Dutch university.
After the Direct Dutch intermediate course, students are ready for the programme 1 exam. For programme 2 we offer a special course, which can be taken after our advanced course.
If you are/were not a Direct Dutch student, and want to enrol for our NT2 course, you will have to make an appointment for an intake test, which consists of an oral and a written part.
